IMPORTANT UPDATE: PDI resolution application extension
The EAAB earlier this month announced an exciting initiative that will assist estate agents from disadvantaged backgrounds gain entry into the profession.
The PDI resolution provides an opportunity for Black estate agents – who can prove that they are previously disadvantaged – to apply for exemption from all regulatory fee requirements, including for FFCs, financial audits and mandatory fees for education and training.
The initial notice indicated that the resolution would be implemented from 1 April 2020.
However, due to the national Covid-19 lockdown, the effect date has to be extended to 1 June 2020 to allow for all interested parties to have sufficient time to submit their applications.
